Our rapid growth and client needs mean we are looking for a bright, energetic Senior Graphic Designer who would like to work in the film industry as well as with clients across a diverse set of industries.

Key attributes:

Creativity: Ability to create concepts for others to work on. Have a keen awareness of current trends in advertising and graphic design across both print and web.

Communication and presentation skills: Excellent communication (written and verbal), confident presentation skills when pitching ideas to clients and the ability to explain ideas to the creative team.

Interpersonal skills: Provide a clear creative vision while remaining open to others’ ideas.

Digital and graphic design skills: Strong design skills across web and print, Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, a working knowledge of HTML5 and Google Web Designer. Bonus: Competence using Sketch or a similar program.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Experienced in creating interactive HTML5 banners with Google Web Designer, (or Edge or Animate) and ensure compliance with Double Click Campaign Manager.
  • Designing artwork for website layouts and digital campaigns.
  • Producing graphics layouts and conceptual designs across a wide range of print formats including but not limited to large format outdoor such as billboard and bus wraps, tickets, packaging, posters, newspaper & magazine ads.
  • Meeting publication deadlines
  • Brainstorming innovative campaigns
  • Conceptualising and implementing new branding and visual identities.
  • Working with the GM to manage the creative team as required and at times, assisting the GM with tasks and administrative duties.

 

The Successful Candidate will have:

  • At least 6 years graphic design experience with a Tertiary qualification in graphic design.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Experience using Google Web Designer in the creation of interactive HTML5 banners.
  • Sound print knowledge including Pre Press, Special finishes, die lines, booklets and being able to  create mock ups.
  • A high level of organisational & communication skills.
  • Eye for detail and strong creative conceptual skills.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to multitask & meet deadlines in high pressure situations while exceeding our clients' high expectations.
  • An excellent grasp of written and oral English with advanced spelling and grammar.
  • Lively energetic personality with a drive and ambition to succeed in the above role.
  • Be able to work in a team environment and autonomously.
  • Enthusiasm to approach any task no matter how grand or mediocre.
  • Experience managing a small team or other designers.
  • Bonus would be experience using Workflow Max.
