A unique opportunity exists for a role within our design company for a Senior Designer / Architect / Senior Technician with the possibility of working remotely throughout New Zealand. This is a chance to craft a career implementing your own design ideas while working in a fun team environment.
Hierarchy Group is an innovative design company that provides specialist design and build services to a wide range of clients throughout New Zealand, including commercial, industrial, recreational and residential building projects.
We seek applicants that have relevant architectural design qualifications and at least 10 – 15 years post graduate experience in New Zealand. You will have had a design background and experience cultivating ideas and resolving to completion.
Reporting to the Director, the key focus of the role will be on providing design guidance for staff, managing workloads, customer relations, with the ability to perform initial concept work, developed design, documentation through to monitoring and Q&A processes.
Key attributes required include: -
- Architectural Design with a high level of experience using Revit software
- Proven Creative Flair
- Experience working in New Zealand
- Design in Commercial building construction and fitouts
- Design in Residential Construction
- Experience and knowledge of building and infrastructure design with the New Zealand Building Code.
- Knowledge and Experience of design standards and the consenting process
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members, consultants and contractors
- Working within agreed timeframes and budgets
- Building customer relations with new clients and possibly bring in your own contacts
