Senior Planner – Auckland
A new opportunity has come available for an established Senior Planner with a specialist planning consultancy based in Auckland. This is a newly developed position for the business due to ongoing success and increased workload for the Auckland region.
Going from strength-strength this consultancy has 7 offices established in NZ and are specialists in environmental planning and resource management. The team is made up of resource management specialists with broad experience in environmental management, ecology, policy development and consultation.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a background in both policy and consenting across a variety of environmental planning projects. You will be a comfortable communicator who can both consult and negotiate with clients and stakeholders alike. You will have the opportunity to both project manage, take lead, bring on new clients and get to work with technical delivery on the ground.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- 7+ years practical planning experience in New Zealand.
- Comprehensive understanding of AEE’s, legislation and impact assessments.
- Exceptional report writing skills.
- Proven track record in business development (beneficial not essential).
- Previous experience in managing project teams, or mentorship of others.
- NZPI membership
