My client, an established Auckland City packaging and branding design agency, is looking to bring on a talented intermediate to mentor and support in growing their career. 

The successful candidate will be a natural, clear communicator with a passion for great design, bringing unique creativity to day to day tasks, and able to work smoothly with the wider team to see projects through from concept to completion.

Required Experience: 

• Min 3+ years commercial design experience 
• Commercial packaging and branding design experience would be IDEAL
• Agency experience preferred
   

Required Skills:

• Confident in the creation and execution of quality design 
• Excellent branding and Identity development
• Organised in setting up files, clear and detailed thinking
• Strong in conceptual design ideation
• Strategic thinking
• Confident meeting and liaising with clients
• A strong portfolio that showcases exceptional creative work
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Strong communicator

Desired Skills:

• Basic digital design skills would be a bonus 
• A passion for or strong interest in packaging design - particularly for FMCG / Food and Beverage companies
• Illustration and Typography skills a huge bonus

• Can work confidently in a small team and lend a hand outside the realm of their role when required
