Role for a Senior UX/UI Designer in Wellington CBD for a leading digital design and services agency

Your new company
An industry leading digital design and technology company are looking for an experienced UX and UI designer who can combine UX, interaction and interface design to deliver exceptional interactive user experiences for large scale web, mobile web and web application based projects within private and public sector client base. The role is based in Wellington CBD.

Your new role
As a well-versed User Experience and Interaction Designer, you will have the skill and personality to be a creative lead at the same time lead the engagement with the clients you work with. You will be able to:

• Bring forward a true solutions focus, being able to think strategically on behalf of the clients
• Have a creative thinking and guide the design process. Take the design lead from start to finish whilst focusing on quality, customer expectation and build trust and respect
• Have a solid understanding of the user centred web interface design process. You will be able to apply critical and analytical thinking while designing solutions.

What you'll need to succeed

• You will have excellent communication skill, are well organised and show great attention to detail.
• Prior experience gathering client requirements, analyzing and defining the UX/UI vision to meet the needs of the customers.
• You will have experience working closely with web responsive developers to shape the overall solution.
• Experience of designing visualisations and illustrations using industry leading tools

Due to the nature of the role, you will already have a resident class visa or NZ citizenship to apply for this role.
