The TDM Group is a both a Residential & Modular Home company based in Hamilton. As a group we construct high quality residential homes throughout New Zealand.
We are currently looking to expand your design & consents team with the introduction of an intermediate planner.
As our Intermediate Planners you will be responsible for collating and providing information and guidance related to the District Plan and the Resource Management Act. You will be responsible for writing applications for resource consent. You will be required to review all proposed plans to ensure they comply with the relevant district plan.
The ideal candidate will:
- have a Bachelor in Planning or Resource Management, or equivalent tertiary qualification
- ideally at least three years’ experience in planning and resource management application
- A positive attitude and willing to learn more about residential house construction
- Be willing to work in a team environment
- Communicate well with clients, subcontractors & staff as well as agencies such as local councils
- have a sound knowledge of the Resource Management Act and related policies
