Architectural designer/technician

Responsibilities in this role will include meeting with the client, establishing the design brief, site measurement and survey, developing design concepts in consultation with the client, considering materials and costs according to set budgets in collaboration with our in-house Project Managers, producing colour boards for presentation to clients and preparing detailed working drawings using CAD software.
  
The successful applicant will require the following:

• Minimum 5 years industry experience
• Must have experience working with Revit
• Design flare and creativity with an ability to demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Take a project from concept to developed design
• Excellent communication skills
• Be self-motivated, proactive, with the ability to use initiative, work individually and as part of a team
• Must be Proficient in AutoCAD 2010 or later is essential, as well as good all-round computer skills including MS Office, MS Outlook & Photoshop
• You will have a working knowledge of all applicable codes and regulatory agency guidelines
• Experience with specification writing
• Capable to attend site to resolve issues as they arise, maintain the design quality and review final quality
