Ambitious and talented Project Architect required by leading design practice
Taking the lead on a key commercial project, you will be responsible for all phases of architectural work including planning, designing and overseeing the construction, matching client's needs and ensuring high quality, innovative and functional design.
The role requires an Architect that can take control of the project from start to finish – take the “brief” to identify client's needs; preparing feasibility reports and design proposals; obtaining planning and building consents; preparing detail design and working drawings; compiling project specifications as well as site supervision and coordination of contractors. You will ensure the project remains in budget and on time, reporting progress to the client to meet and exceed their expectations.
To be considered for this role you will:
- Be a registered Architect with a minimum of 3 years’ experience PQE
- Possess a quality portfolio of commercial projects
- Have good working knowledge of NZ regulations and quality standards
- Be CAD proficient (ArchiCAD or Revit) with strong drawing skills
- Be a talented designer with strong technical skills
- Possess communication and project management skills.
