Like many quintessential kiwi success stories, this practice started with humble beginnings in a home office. That was some 35 years and a significant number of design led projects ago, with management crediting the ongoing success to the team and the work they do. The well told story of what is contained in that 35 years oozes strength, tenacity, quality and people focus.
This senior architect role is an exceptional leadership opportunity where you will work alongside the CEO in driving the next stage of positive change. The highly creative design team of 11 are awaiting your arrival and eager to step up to a whole new level of design.
The practice have been known for delivering commercial interior designs and more recently design led architectural projects. Receiving a lot of referral work and growing steadily for some time, the practice have been reviewing strategies and direction and this role is a key appointment continue driving that growth forward.
With projects flowing in, it is vital that the new leader:
- Cast a fresh set of eyes on the team and strategically align the talents contained within
- Lead design of architectural projects and share your own talents with those you manage
- Oversee Christchurch and Wellington projects/teams
- Inject your style of flair into the design studio
This is a hands on leadership opportunity suitable for a seasoned registered architect who is comfortable working on a range of projects and leading by example when it comes to the studio team.

A generous salary is on offer, commensurate with experience, circa $150,000pa.
