The role of Architectural Technician will report to the Project Manager and will join a highly cohesive team of 6. You will be involved in some innovative, high end retirement living solutions where you will be required to create design proposals and concept drawings, 2D and 3D computer based designs and produce detailed full working drawings. 
  
This is an outstanding opportunity for an Intermediate level Draughter with at least 3 years' industry experience. To be considered for this role, you will need to be tertiary qualified with work experience here in New Zealand. You will have in-depth knowledge and experience of construction methods and materials, and design techniques, tools and principles. A good level of computer literacy is essential, including some experience with ArchiCAD. In addition, you will need experience with Windows and Microsoft Office. You will have sound knowledge of New Zealand Building codes and regulations and Health & Safety requirements. 
  
You will be able to self-manage, and be confident working under pressure while maintaining accuracy and speed. You'll be inventive, imaginative and creative with an eye for detail. Experience in the Aged Care or retirement village industry is highly advantageous.
