Established in Wiri, Manukau City, Auckland, New Zealand in 1986, Wiri Timber Ltd is a leading independent manufacturer of prefabricated wall frames and roof trusses.
We are GROWING!! Due to a upbeat economy there is a vacancy in our team for an experienced wall frame or roof truss detailer
The position will involve interpretation of architectural plans and drawings for the purpose of inputting information into a computerised PRYDA detailing program ready for production of residential wall frames and roof trusses.
As a result the following skill set is required:
Vision and common sense
A clear understanding of NZ3604: 2011
High computer literacy skills;
Excellent attention to detail;
Great communication skills to be able to liaise with sales reps, architects, engineers, builders and home owners;
The ability to communicate in a team environment and a strong work ethic are all essential requirements for this position.
Hours are:
M-F: 7.30am-5:00pm
We offer a full time permanent position based at our manufacturing site in Manukau City with excellent remuneration and the scope for advancement within the department.
