This is an excellent opportunity for a strong administrator, looking for a change in pace. This permanent part time opportunity is best suited for a person with a strong eye for detail, someone who takes pride on their accuracy and who enjoys working within a team orientated environment – work together and achieve together!

You will be working within the Provider Services (Legal Aid) team and assist our lawyers with legal aid approvals and contracts, investigate complaints, and carry out audits on quality and value.

The main element to the role is to administer approvals for Legal Aid lawyers and ensuring details are correctly recorded on all files. The day to day work involves interacting with Legal Aid lawyers by email and telephone to ensure the appropriate applications/processes are followed and the correct details entered. Part of your role will also include managing the general queries phone line for external and internal customers.

To be successful in the role you will be customer-focussed and able to relate to a wide range of people. The right person will have:

  • Good computer literacy, including intermediate knowledge of email software, MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • An ability to work with a wide range of databases
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • The ability to proactively take initiative and identify when things need to be done
  • Knowledge of office procedures and business processes
  • Good time management and planning skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, including accurate data-entry skills

Preferred hours for this role:

Monday to Thursday, starting at 9 and finishing at 230 with a half hour lunch break. There is flexibility on the hours for the right candidate.
