ABOUT THE ROLE 

Medical transcriptionist 

If you are an experienced medical Dictaphone typist and would be interested in working full time, this role could be of interest to you. 

Working at Wellington hospital you will be assisting a busy team transcribing for a variety of services.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

To be considered you will have:

  • Proven medical or legal Dictaphone typing experience
  • Experience with Winscribe or similar transcribing system 
  • Good knowledge of medical/legal terminology 
  • Fast and accurate typing
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word 

The person we are looking for will be a team player, have a clear understanding about the importance of producing accurate work, can cope with the pressure of needing to meet tight deadlines. We are also looking for someone who is flexible and has a bright personality. 

This role is based at Wellington Hospital.
