Full Time, Friday to Tuesday, and public holidays

Do you have efficient administration skills and problem solving abilities? Do you have the ability to listen empathetically and still efficiently manage phone calls in a timely manner.

In this role as Client Administrator/After-Hours Coordinator you will be processing client requisitions, changes, and departures and attending to inbound and outbound calls. 

You will also be answering and processing after hours calls to ensure uninterrupted care for our clients who are the elderly and/or have disablilities, and their families. This aspect of the role will involve rostering of the Support Workers who provide this care to the clients in the clients own homes.

As you will be the first point of contact for inbound and outbound calls, you will need a warm, yet professional phone manner, with exceptionally clear spoken English.  This role will appeal to a quick thinker who likes to find workable solutions to immediate problems.

This is a five day a week role of 37 hours.  It includes working Friday evening, and Saturday & Sunday during the day.  The regular days off work each week are Wednesday & Thursday.

 The successful candidate will  have:

  • Experience with rostering staff/clients
  • Excellent, clear spoken and written English
  • Intermediate data entry skills
  • An attention to detail
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to provide responsive, person-centred solutions for service users
  • Ability to work under pressure, remaining calm and professional
  • A desire to be part of the ongoing work of VisionWest Community Trust
