We are looking for a Procurement Administrator to join a succesful company within the FMCG industry. The company operates throughout New Zealand with three principal hubs in Wellington, Christchuch and Auckland. This position is based in their Wiri offices in Auckland and offers on-street parking, up to 5 weeks annual leave and a family oriented environment.

The Procurement Administrator will be responsible for providing general administration support to the Procurement and Marketing Managers in relation to raising purchase orders, document storage, data integrity analysis and cleansing and any other duties as and when required in order to provide an efficient and responsive service in a demanding but rewarding team environment.

Main duties and responsabilties include:

  • Implementing the effective management of Inventory & Stock Control for all NZ branches
  • Planning, managing & facilitating excess stock reduction
  • Coordinate and liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders with respect to all marketing activity
  • Follow up suppliers’ submissions & ensure they are received in the specified time frames.
  • Coordinate and manage outbound marketing material
  • Various other administration tasks

The successful candidate

To be succesful in the position they are looking someone who may have had 1-2 years of experience within a procurement/purchasing position in a support role or transferable. A general understanding of marketing would definitly be a plus. You will have excellent stakeholder management or customer service skills and be attentive to detail.

Additionaly you will have strong MS Office skills.
