PKR Philip King Restorations specialises in Furniture Restoration. And has been in the furniture restoration business for over 20 years, hence they are known and well respected for their experience and expertise. The team is a total of 5 people and you’ll be the key administrator. It is a workshop environment with a separate administration office (not a flash office in the CBD), you’ll need to be comfortable working in this low key environment.  Reporting to the Company Director this role has variety plus, from payroll to AP/AR to setting up jobs, and purchasing.

The duties include:

  • Weekly Payroll (5 Employees) processing on Xero
  • Making appointments and lists for call out quoting/estimating
  • Generating job sheets and listing jobs in the day book
  • Generating workshop work schedules
  • Liaise with customers to arrange carriers for furniture pickup and deliveries
  • Procurement of stock for the workshop and general goods
  • Carry out accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, GST, and credit management
  • Preparing accounts for the Accountant
  • Keeping the filing up to date

What we are looking for?

You’ll be an experienced administrator/accounts person, looking to add variety and autonomy to your role. You love getting things right (accurate is your middle name) and pride yourself on your speed and attention to detail. Well organised, methodical along with being Intermediate on MS Excel, and experienced with using Xero. Be great if you have some knowledge of payroll legislation too.
