Who.
You will come from an administrative background and looking for an opportunity to broaden these admin skills across other areas of the business. Illustrate your initiative, pro-activity, enthusiasm and a passion for bringing projects to life and you will slot in easily.  

A roll-your-sleeves up attitude is required as no job is too big or too small; you may go from troubleshooting issues with the IT team to a meeting with a client or accompany a GM to an event. If you're the type of person who sees something out of place and moves to make change, you will succeed in this environment - ownership is everything. 

Some marketing experience will enable you to add value quickly to marketing initiatives, however this is not mandatory as long as you can show the propensity for research and contributing ideas.

What.
This role is the quintessential "all-round" role, encompassing everything from the small bits & pieces to meaty projects. Your remit will include but not be limited to: 

  • Planning and managing events, from annual conferences and training days to client liaison events
  • Provide PA level support to the GM and the partners - anything from travel bookings to making reservation suggestions for lunch meetings
  • Supporting marketing initiatives, partnering on advertising or executing sponsorship plans 
  • Partner with the wider marketing team to research and contribute ideas for website content and thought-provoking online discussion 
  • Office management; from stationery and supplies to managing moves, the office is yours to look after
  • Support the wider team with administration and coordination tasks, from creating presentations to coordinating learning and development plans
  • Creating and nurturing both internal and external relationships, taking ownership of any issues that you can solve and escalating appropriately throughout the business
Note: this role is a 35 hour a week role - from 8.30am-3.30pm
