Due to rapid growth a fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the team at Duncan & Ebbett in a newly created Warranty Manager role.

Duties include:

  • Facilitate the entire warranty process from job preparation, repair write up, invoicing and claiming.
  • Looking up Manufacturers standard repair times.
  • Training staff in the warranty process.
  • Managing staff through warranty process.
  • Handling customer warranty enquiries.
  • Liaising with the management and workshop teams on warranty process concerns.
  • Obtaining Prior Approval from the Manufacturers.
  • Ensuring all repairs completed to Manufacturers Requirements - this will include making sure the correct parts and tools are ordered to be able to complete the repair.
  • Managing database information and updating the CMS system.
  • Self-Audit review process.
  • Manufacturer Audit Reviews.
  • Warranty Account Reconciliation.
  • Service Plan Invoicing and Reconciliation.
  • The role may include warranty processing for our other marques.
  • May include Service Reception cover is the case of absences.
  • This role is based in Hamilton but will require some travel to Tauranga.
Skills required:
  • Experience in managing a warranty process. Jaguar Land Rover Warranty experience would be preferred, but experience in another brand would be advantageous.
  • Good leadership skills.
  • Well organised with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Customer Service Experience would be an advantage
