Company Profile
Based at the Kumeu depot, Treescape Environmental is a vibrant and growing business unit of Treescape Limited. Treescape is servicing the Auckland Council Ecological Specialist Contract, as well as other key clients, and is working to build a better future for the city's natural environments from Rodney to Waitakere.
 

Role Overview
The purpose of the Contracts Administrator role is to provide sound administrative and technical support to the Treescape Environmental Division to ensure the smooth running of operations and job reporting.
A key focus of this role is to help coordinate and record the day to day completion of contract works, to monitor contract compliance and to compile accurate performance reports.
The successful applicant must take a hands-on approach in order to complete any of the regular administration tasks at any time as required.
 

Key Tasks Include
Contract Administration 
Collate timesheets and ensure relevant information is uploaded into ‘Core Suite’ system or monthly billing and reporting,
Compliance
Monitor and report on performance of work in accordance with contractual terms 
Analysis & Reporting
Using data extracted from Excel, to provide sound analysis of job performance for Business & Project Managers to assist with the completion of status reports,
Manager Support
Provide sound Administrative support and guidance to the Business Managers on a daily/ weekly/ monthly basis as directed and required and assist with the organisation of training programmes,
Office Administration
Review procedures and tasks on a regular basis
Documentation
Oversee the system for the collation, collection and approval of all staff timesheets in order for them to be approved and then passed to the Office Administrator to enter all data in a timely and efficient manner
Purchase Orders
Provide support to ensure that Purchase Orders as required by the Contract Manager, Project Managers and Staff are created and managed correctly and efficiently in a timely manner.
 

Skills You Will Ideally Have :-

  • Several years' experience in office management or administration in a medium to large sized NZ company
  • Some previous lower level staff management experience 
  • Advanced Excel skills - (able to write queries)
  • Hands on experience with SAP
  • Previous experience using Core Suite, Vault and Sales Force would be advantageous
  • Superior English written and verbal communication skills

Advantageous Additional Skills Might Include
•    Experience working in a contract services operation such as roading, construction, power lines maintenance or similar environment would be a distinct advantage.
