Due to internal promotion we are looking for a new branch executive. This busy and varied role provides support to our Wellington Branch Manager, delivering events and other services to our regional members. You'll be responsible for:

  • Assisting with the delivery of branch activities for membership programmes, professional development and commercial offerings
  • Membership support for our Wellington and Auckland regional branches
  • Digital support including website, surveys and newsletters
  • General branch administration

This is a part-time role of approximately 32 hours per week. You will need to have flexibility to be able to occasionally work outside of Wellington, and assist with our breakfast and after-work events. 

To be successful in this role you'll have 2-3 year's hands on experience in a professional marketing, events or customer service environment. You'll enjoy interacting with customers both over the phone and in person, and will also have:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to a wide variety of professionals
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Plenty of initiative 
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Great attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Practical experience using databases
  • An understanding of membership organisations would be ideal
