Platinum Recruitment are excited to present the opportunity for a CA qualified accountant with a tax specialization to join this reputable Invercargill-based CA firm. This is a senior position, ideally looking for a CA with more than 5 years experience in Tax Accountancy.

Some key responsibilities of the role:

• Manage and develop a team, delegating and reviewing work for team members
• Train and mentor team members, and conduct performance reviews
• Manage client relationships and expand client base
• Prepare and provide tax advice to provide solutions to clients, and implement advice
• Research and make recommendations on tax issues such as income tax, indirect tax, state taxes, or specialist tax issues
• Risk identification and control
• Complete audits and reviews
• Achieve budget targets
• Risk identification and control

The ideal candidate will have:

• A relevant qualification
• A CA or CPA qualification
• 5+ years accounting experience with a tax focus
• Strong leadership skills
• Relationship building and client management skills
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to work well in a team
• Focus on results
• Self-motivation
• A clean full NZ driver's licence and be willing to do some occasional travel
