Reporting to the Collections Support Team Leader, this role is part of a close knit team so it is essential that you are a team player.
About the role: The purpose of the Skip Tracer role is to assist collectors to locate the debtor so that the collector can proceed with collecting payments. The role involves:
- Efficiently locating debtors information
- Accurately recording information on the in house system
- Contacting third parties to gain information of debtor's location
- General administration duties
The successful candidate will be:
- Proficient with using data bases and search sites
- Analytical with an enquiring mind
- Patient, resilient, persistent and able to remain focused
- Self motivated
- Able to think outside the box and use initiative with debtor tracing
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of credit/financial industries (desirable but not necessary)
