Medsafe is the New Zealand Medicines and Medical Devices Safety Authority responsible for the regulation of therapeutic products in New Zealand. We're looking for an Assistant Advisor to join us in the Product Regulation Branch on a permanent, full-time basis. The Product Regulation Branch is responsible for the pre-market assessment of new and changed medicines.
As the Assistant Advisor, you will provide technical and administrative advice on the processing of new and changed medicine applications to both the Branch and applicants. To be considered for this position, ideally you will have experience in a team administrative environment.
The successful applicant is likely to have the following:

excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage their own workload

excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

ability to adapt to new processes

a high degree of computer literacy

excellent interpersonal skills.
In addition, you will have will exceptional written and oral communication skills, a high and a demonstrated ability to work within a team. Training and support will be offered to the successful candidate.
