Detail information about job Project Administrator. Terms and conditions vacancy

  • Incredible office with amazing team culture
  • Be involved in some very inspiring projects
  • Full time permanent position based in central CBD

My lovely client seeks a confident Project Administrator to support a hard-working team of consulting professionals at a forward thinking, upmarket and vibrant National Consulting Firm.

Your day will be varied, and you will work alongside the Administration Manager to support the team of approximately 30 people. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Recording project status updates and tracking milestones
  • Managing inboxes
  • General office and administration duties
  • Diary management
  • Expense claim and credit card reconciliation
  • Document management and distribution
  • Finance administration -including loading timesheets, tracking hours, spotting errors.
  • Meeting room set up
  • Back up to reception

You will be part of a support team of four people, so you will need to be genuinely willing to pitch in and help out in areas outside of your role – these fast -paced consulting firms demand flexibility and an ‘all heads on it’ approach to things. You will also need to be a ‘doer’; when something that needs doing you need to muck in and get it done.

I am looking for the key skills and attributes:

  • Project administration experience
  • Strong data entry skills, as this is a crucial part of the role.
  • Exposure to the building, construction, engineering or architectural industries would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - I will be asking for examples of this
  • Proven history of self-development and professional growth with your career to date
  • Minute taking experience
  • Have the ability to own your work from start to finish
  • Self-driven and motivated

This is an amazing opportunity to be involved in some inspiring projects making a real difference to the New Zealand landscape.  My client truly loves the work they do and expects only the best.

In return, you will be rewarded for your achievements, my client celebrates success! They are rightfully very proud of their creative, forward thinking, and supportive work place environment. You will love going to work in this environment!
