The Marlborough District Council (MDC) is offering a talented PIM Information Officer the opportunity to work for a dynamic and rewarding organisation.

This role is approx. 20 hours per week.

The purpose of this role is to assist the Building Control group by assessing building consent applications against the requirements of the Resource Management Act.

The successful applicant will display excellent skills/knowledge of:

  • Building industry knowledge is desirable.
  • A commitment to customer service, teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • An ability to read and understand building applications, check sheets and plans will be beneficial.
