My client is a well-recognised New Zealand membership association. They deal with a variety of customers and clients on a daily basis, take pride in what they do and provide a quality service to their members.

This role is an exciting opportunity to combine frontline duties with administration support, training course coordination, event assistance and more.  With this in mind we are looking for someone who is friendly, dedicated, hardworking and has the ability to muck in and get the job done.

Due to internal movement this role is available as a fixed term contract until October 2019.

This role will assist in a number of areas within the business and the key responsibilities are:

  • Managing taxi cards and petrol cards
  • Coordinate office maintenance and ordering office supplies
  • Greeting visitors to the office and answering phone calls
  • Assisting with organising industry events
  • Assisting with processing membership applications
  • Manage and coordinate training events held nationwide
  • Booking staff travel
  • Setting up meeting rooms and ordering catering
  • General administrative support as needed

Along with a great attitude and a friendly nature we are also looking for the following:

  • Sound Microsoft Office skills (these will be tested)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A resilient personality with the ability to juggle multiple tasks
  • Demonstrated administration experience
  • Persistence to see things through to completion
  • A good sense of humour and an adaptable personality

This is a membership based organisation with over 3,000 members, so a high level of customer service is a must. We are eager to get the right fit for the team and are looking for proactive people who don’t mind pitching in and assisting the team on any level and bring a great energy to their work.
