Weighbridge Operator/Administrator

An exciting opportunity exists for a Weighbridge Administrator to assist with the operations based at our Wheatsheaf Quarry located in Christchurch.

This is a permanent part time role working 2pm – 6pm Monday to Thursday, 1pm – 5pm Friday and 7am – 12pm Saturday.

The role will see you responsible for running the weighbridge to ensure a successful and well organised operation and administration support in data entry, generating purchase orders for suppliers and other ad hoc duties.

You’ll be the face of our Quarry so we want someone who is bright and bubbly and can build a good rapport for all our drivers that come on site. We’re ideally looking to be impressed by your proven track record with customers. A background in customer service is a must, we’re happy to teach you the administration side of the business.

You’ll be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and have a high degree of accuracy when entering data. In addition you must be team orientated, have a positive attitude and remain calm in pressurised situations, a basic understanding of Microsoft suite is essential.
