About the business

Health 2000 is New Zealand's largest natural health retailer.  We are 25 years old and going from strength to strength.  Through the last 18 months, our website has seen exceptional growth.

About the role

This role is based in our busy Hamilton Central support office. The role is an important part of ensuring our website maintains its growth and flow. 

Reporting to the Health 2000 E-Commerce Manager, this role is all about ensuring exceptional customer service standards. We get a number of inquiries on a daily basis from looking for orders, placing orders, to asking questions about products or health related issues.  Having an interest in natural health would be advantageous but not essential, as long as you are open to learning about a new industry.

When the phone isn't ringing, there is still lots to do. This role will support two E-Commerce managers to update their site prices and products as well as help to coordinate sales, promotions and stock. When we are flat out, we may need a hand to pack some of the orders too!

This role is varied and is a growth position for the business, so although we have created a service level standard and procedures, if there is a better way to do it, we are open to change. You really can make it your own!

Skills and experience

  • Customer service experience, especially call handling
  • Fast and efficient data entry
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Good level of computer skills

  • A good understanding of written and verbal English
