The Company
MSCA is the Australian / New Zealand agency for Mediterranean Shipping Company – with over 450 container ships calling at 335 ports around the globe, our Principal is one of the World’s largest container shipping lines. The agency has over 350 employees based in 10 offices located in the major cities around Australia and New Zealand.
The Position
With the increase to our import business we are expanding our team and looking for a customer service guru who is keen to learn the shipping jargon and systems. We are looking for someone who has previous customer service experience and genuinely enjoy's interacting with customers and building professional relationships with their key clients.
Primary task and responsibilities are:
- Timely processing of bookings for our customers
- Liaise with customer queries on schedule changes, transhipment advices, invoicing, equipment return and shipping forecasts.
- Provide maintenance and checking of various customer and booking database systems.

- Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise at all levels
- Strong commitment to providing high quality customer service
- Professional and courteous communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Intermediate computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to thrive in a high-paced team environment
