This is a 12 month fixed term contract (minimum 20 hours per week) for parental leave cover. There is a possibility for the right person that this could become a permanent position.
About the Company
Brookland & Associates Limited specialises in providing compilation accounting and secretarial services to our clients. We are currently looking for a senior staff member for an administration role with the future opportunity to prepare annual financial statements, tax returns and GST returns.
The services at Brookland & Associates Limited are specifically designed to give our clients ongoing support with GST, PAYE, Accounting and Income Tax.
What you’ll need to succeed
Ideally we are seeking a person with the following requirements:
- Accounting qualifications
- Minimum three years experience working in an accounting practice preparing financial statements, tax returns and GST returns in New Zealand
- Good technical skills; be thorough, methodical and accurate
- Ideally experienced using accounting software packages
- Payroll experience would be an advantage
- Prepared to cover reception for staff breaks and leave.
