The Opportunity
As the Receptionist for this global innovated architectural business, you will be the face of Christchurch business and will be the first point of contact for clients.
Reporting to the Office Manager, you will have the chance to develop and contribute to the way the front of house operates, by bringing your own ideas and creative flair to the role.
This role is for a 6 month fixed term contract.

They are a global entity within the design field, having offices located around the globe. Their architectural group operate in New Zealand, Australia and London and beyond. With their innovated designs and their industry knowledge and expertise, they would be classed as a leader in their field.
They enjoy a number of longstanding relationships with clients throughout the country and are involved in some of Christchurch’s most prestigious commercial projects.
The Role
This will be a busy and varied role, where you will be:
- Managing a busy reception area
- Meeting and greeting clients
- Answering the phones and responding to emails
- Stationery orders, Travel bookings and Mail sorting
- Providing the team with all administrative duties
- Supporting the management team with PA support
Your Profile
- 3+ years' experience in a similar role
- Be experienced in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills (Written and Verbal)
- Exceptional presentation skills
- Have a positive can do attitude and a desire to learn new skills
- The ability to self-manage and work as part of a team and autonomously as required
