Sherpa Insurance Brokers and Advocates offer smarter insurance solutions and superior claims advocacy. With over 13 years in the industry, they see themselves as trusted advisors, placing an importance on building solid client relationships. Due to growth, they are seeking a part-time Broker Support (20 hours a week across 4-5 days) to join their small yet expanding team. You will work closely with the Managing Director providing broker support, managing day to day office duties and providing professional, engaging customer services to their ever-expanding client base.
Key duties and responsibilities
- General administration duties
- Handling a wide range of client queries
- Workflow management
- Maintaining client records, managing claims and data processing
- Light account duties including AP/AR and processing finance agreements
- Reports and preparation for meetings
Key skills
- Strong administration & organisational skills
- Competent with MS Office suite and good typing skills
- Outstanding communication both verbal and written
- Ability to build good relationships & provide excellent customer service
- Polished, friendly “team-player”
- Insurance industry experienced preferred

Whilst initially this role will commence 20 hours a week, it is envisaged that hours may increase over the first six-month period. With flexibility on offer, Sherpa will work with the successful candidate to confirm these hours.
