Rex Bionics is a world leader in hi-tech robotic exoskeletons, pioneering innovative advancements for people who are physically impaired.

A company with its roots firmly in NZ, but focusing on international markets,  we are looking for an exceptional Book-keeper / Office Manager.  The role encompasses all things admin, working with a great team mainly based in NZ but also UK, US and Australia.

The role reports to the General Manager.

The successful candidate will have experience in: book-keeping, payroll, and general reception / office admin.  You will need to be someone who likes to take charge and are capable of working independently in a challenging environment.  You will be someone who likes getting the job done and is flexible enough to take on a variety of tasks.

We are located on the North Shore.  Some flexibility with hours could be considered for the right candidate. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Book-Keeping:
    • NetSuite:  Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Reconciliations, Bill Payments, Journal Entries, Bank Transactions
    • Banking: Monitoring Balances, account transfers, file exports/imports, payments, visa and EFTPOS cards and online banking administration.
  • Inland Revenue and ACC:
    • Inland Revenue: Reconciliation, filing and payment of GST and Employer Deductions
    • Kiwisaver Employer/Employee filing and payment
    • ACC filing and payment
  • Human Resources:
    • Payroll Processing
    • Personnel Records/Payroll Records/External Training Records/Kiwisaver
    • Liaison/reporting/payment with third party agencies e.g. ACC, Child Support, Ministry of Justice
  • Shipping/Exporting
  • Administration and Management Support
  • Reception and Telephone
  • Property Management
