The Membership and Sponsor Coordinator is a role with many layers to it. The successful applicant will manage the Yachting New Zealand member card, promoting the benefits of the programme to clubs and their members and working with existing and potential suppliers to enhance the offering. They’ll also help deliver successful sponsorship engagement, including events, and help create new opportunities. It’s about improving the relationship with clubs and our partners and sponsors. Lastly, the role provides critical administrative support around collecting and processing club affiliation data and managing all membership applications to Yachting New Zealand.
There are five key roles and responsibilities:
- Manage the Yachting New Zealand member card
- Coordinate the collection of individual member’s information from clubs for annual affiliation returns
- Coordinate the membership application process for Yachting New Zealand
- Sponsor servicing
- Support Yachting New Zealand’s administration services coordinator
We’re looking for someone to join our small but effective team. The successful applicant needs to be organised and enthusiastic, honest and innovative. Good communication and computer skills are essential and experience in managing and delivering projects is advantageous. If that sounds like you, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
The role is a 32 hours per week.
Yachting New Zealand is the national sports organisation for sailing and boating in the country, with the principal aim of helping New Zealanders access, enjoy and succeed on the water for life. We are a non-profit organisation of approximately 25 employees around the country and more than 250 member clubs, class associations and organisations, so the breadth of our activity stretches from the grassroots through to the elite level.
