Our client is a prominent name in the towing industry. With the main hub in Central Auckland they have multiple sites and service the Auckland Metro region in conjunction with affiliate companies and their own fleet.

Established in 2012, they operate a fleet of approximately 56 vehicles. The business is experiencing phenomenal growth and an opportunity exists for a Customer Service Rep to join their 85 strong team.

The company offers a full complement of towing services including, Parking enforcement, roadside rescue, vehicle recoveries and transportation, as well as accident and emergency services.

The key purpose of the role to take incoming calls from a range of clients including critical emergency services and log the jobs into the system, jobs are then forwarded to the specialist dispatch coordinators to execute. There is a fair amount of cross over with dispatch and site managers.

Key requirements:

  • Immaculate communication skills, both verbal and written (clear and concise)
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office
  • Must be highly organised with an ability to prioritise workflow and workload
  • Ability to work under pressure and display a strong work ethic
  • Proven ability to analyse, problem solve and make decisions
  • Ideally a minimum of four years customer service experience
  • Must be able to work the hours and be available 24/7
  • Some form of tertiary qualification in customer service and or business administration

Someone with customer services experience from within the transport and or distribution type industry would be highly regarded.

Due to the nature of their business this is a fast paced and demanding role where you have to be on the ball at all times. There is little to no room for error.

Hours: 7am - 4pm, and 3pm - midnight rotating shift on a 24/7 roster.

Pay rate: $22.00 hour start with a review in six months. There is also career development available for stand out performers.
