Are you an experienced Receptionist or Customer Service Representative who is keen for a change? We are currently recruiting for a permanent, full time Receptionist to hit the ground running in a multidisciplinary design company in Newmarket.

Based at the front desk of their open plan office, you will provide office support to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness within the Auckland office.


Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Reception duties and meet and greet clients
  • Set up meeting rooms, ensuring all catering needs are taken account of
  • Maintain the staff kitchen & ordering of office supplies
  • Vehicle maintenance
  • Petty Cash  - reimbursing expenses and reconciling account
  • Organise flights and travel arrangements including accommodation, rental cars etc
  • Be the printing troubleshooter for internal printing
  • Advise new staff of information needed and provide necessary equipment
  • Help to organise staff events and meetings
  • Ensure office first aiders qualifications are kept up to date
  • Assisting fellow employees with any administrative tasks they need help with
  • Assist in setting up a Health & Safety working group
  • Reporting tasks and assisting with accounts payable & receivable

The successful candidate will have/be:

  • Minimum 2 years of reception & office admin experience
  • Basic to intermediate MS Office skills (testing required)
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • An enthusiastic & self-motivating can do attitude
  • A proactive approach and taking initiative to help with whatever is required
  • A mature and confident yet personable manner to represent the company professionally at all times internally & externally
  • Great organisational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize
