PROJECT / CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR
Full Time, Permanent Position

Gartshore Group and Building Remediation Services have a combined position available for a Project / Contracts Office Administrator. They are looking for someone highly energetic, efficient and effective in a sole charge position with the daily running of a small branch office that is focused on tendering for contracts and running multiple projects across the commercial and retail interior fit outs and building remediation industry. You will be working closely with two great teams, providing administrative assistance and will play an integral part of both companies.
This role involves:
- A mixture of office, project, contracts and administration related tasks
- Providing high level support to two businesses in a joint office based in Mt Eden
- Assisting Project Managers and Business Unit Managers in their tasks
- Contracts administration, document control, maintaining records and files and assisting as project coordinator
- Preparing quote submissions, invoices, creditors and debtors
- Manning reception and providing customer service
- Assisting with project start up and close out and ensuring follow up actions are taken
- Coordination of appointments, travel, flights and accommodation
- Basic marketing, mailing flyers, website updates, emails, etc.
- Working with head office in Tauranga to ensure efficient systems and processes are put in place to run the office and projects effectively
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience in a similar Project / Contracts Administrator / Office Administration type role
- Ideally have worked within the construction / interior fit outs industry, or within a similar trades based organisation
- Be highly proficient with MS Office Suite
- Have basic knowledge of accounting software and invoicing
- Ideally have experience working with contracts and council applications
- Fluent verbal and written English and attention to detail is essential
- Full New Zealand drivers license
- The right to work permanently in New Zealand
- Ability to attend an interview in Auckland at short notice and start as soon as possible (although we will wait for the right person)
