Our Company has established large market awareness with a strong presence for over 75 years in both Australia and New Zealand within the Automotive/Battery sector.

A recent opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Sales Support Officer base at our Wellington Head Office, the role will support sales department covering territory from Kaitaia to Invercargill.

Working in a friendly and open team of five local members, you will be reporting directly to the Northern Regional Manager and responsible for managing customer relationships whilst supporting the sales representatives to provide exceptional service delivery. 

 Key duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Answering incoming calls and dealing with general customer service functions
  • Entering orders in to the system
  • Dealing with face to face sales as well as managing email orders
  • Invoicing cash sales and processing account orders
  • Running weekly and monthly sales reports
  • Supporting the sales team

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following key competencies:

  • Strong customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate user of Microsoft Office suite
  • Familiarised with SAP is preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work both autonomously and in a team environment 
  • Previous battery and or mechanical customer service experience will be an advantage
