The opportunity
During this 8 month maternity leave cover, you will be providing support to our project teams through centralised facilitation and management of administration processes associated with Māori engagement. You will also play a key role in ensuring efficiency and effectiveness of engagement through suitable meeting records, action points and calendar management.
About you
You are a self motivated, experienced administrator with an appreciation of Māori tikanga and an understating of Te Reo. Naturally you will have top-notch communication skills and a strong customer focus to support and enhance relationships with both internal and external organisations. In addition, you are known for your proactive work style, positive 'can do' attitude, excellent time management skills, strong attention to detail, and calm nature when faced with high pressure situations. Your previous experience working in Māori engagement with iwi, hapū and Māori will see you succeed in this role.
