About the Employer
Our client has been established in the electroplating business for over 70 years and continues to keep up with economic and industry changes.  They are constantly adapting and thinking of new products and services to maintain their market share. They predominately specialise in Electroplating of decorative finishes on metal and ABS plastics largely to the manufacturing industry of NZ.  They are a small business delivering big results!
  
About the Role
This is a newly created role to join a small office team with overall responsibility in coordinating the inwards/outwards goods in a production manufacturing environment.  
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Tracking inwards goods from purchase orders and assigning products to the factory
  • Processing packing slips / invoices
  • Customer service and liaising with clients via phone and email
  • Assist other administration staff as required
To be successful in this role you must have the following:
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a willingness to learn
  • Accurate data entry skills 
  • Inventory management and stock control
  • Sound computer skills
  • Competency and experience in purchasing, goods inwards/outwards
  • Sound customer service skills
  • Experience using Exonet would be an advantage
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritize, being organised and able to work within a fast paced environment
  • Proficient with all Microsoft suite like Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Positive and flexible attitude
  • Physically capable of light lifting
