We are looking for an experienced Office Administrator or Receptionist, who has the passion for their role and TR Group. Our team is in need of someone who can be 'the face of TR Group' - a person who is in tune with others and acutely aware of the power of how you leave someone feeling. A calm, confident, proactive and intelligent person who is productive and in control of what they do, and adds to the overall enjoyment and performance of the whole team. You must have the ability to be proactive, use your initiative, think on your feet, and be supportive to the wider TR team.

The opportunity

You will be a key member of our Admin team responsible for:

  • greeting customers - internal and external, you are the face of TR
  • answering phones, and directing calls in the right direction
  • distributing mail
  • communicating on a daily basis the whereabouts of the team.
  • keeping the fridge stocked, so that includes weekly orders from Countdown that you are in charge of - think of this as 'keeping your team hydrated and well fed'
  • office supplies/stationery orders, supplies and stock
  • logging maintenance jobs for the building
  • managing the police infringements and insurance letters
  • travel booking arrangements and ownership of our travel booking system
  • event and meeting coordination (including catering, coordination etc)
  • supporting the HR team with recruitment and admin overspill
  • keeping track of anniversaries of time spent with TR, and TR birthdays (celebrations and awareness)
  • problem solving - the opportunity to 'make things better' within your role, and TR in general - think big picture and act on your ideas
  • helping other teams with work over-flow.

Ideally we are looking for someone who has two years or more experience in an Office Administrator or Support role. We want someone who values hard work and is happy to contribute to the culture.

This role will be made up of 60% administration/reception and 40% innovation and creative ideas with taking them to the next level. Our ideal candidate will be someone who thrives on using their initiative, has a great eye for detail, is proactive and thinks on their feet.

This position will be based at our offices in Auckland.
