We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and talented coordinator to join our People and Projects team based at our Head Office in Te Awamutu. Reporting to the Executive Leader People and Projects, the Project and Services Coordinator will be responsible for providing contract administration and reporting to the Services team; managing the implementation of our workforce development plan; organising training events and managing staff training records; maintaining our Client database; completing incident reviews and providing HR administrative support. In addition, there will be opportunities to assist in the development, delivery and/or submission of role related projects, proposals, tenders and audits.
To be successful in this role you will have the drive and ambition to continue your career in Learning and Development. You will have:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven ability to manage time, meet key deadlines and work under pressure
- Coordination skills – courses, meetings, functions
- Strong computer literacy – Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience using databases
- Strong document control ability
- Health & safety awareness
- Intermediate experience within a relevant position
- A tertiary qualification in administration is preferred but not essential
The preferred candidate must have previous experience working within a similar role in a fast-paced team environment and have the ability to communicate and work positively with senior leaders and frontline staff within the business. Event planning, record management, training or co-ordination experience would be ideal. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are a must along with accuracy and attention to detail.
