Veterinary Services (HB) Ltd operates three clinics in the Hawkes Bay area. We require a person to fill the above position in our Hastings clinic.

We are looking for a special person with a bright and bubbly personality who is able to turn their hand to a multitude of different tasks and be comfortable with answering a high number of phone calls. The role is highly varied but a key component is assisting clients with their requests and requirements both on the phone and in person. Whilst we don’t necessarily require a vet nurse for this role it would be suitable for someone that has worked in a customer service capacity where the handling of phone calls played a big part. The successful applicant will possess the following attributes;

• the maturity to deal with people of different ages and ethnicity
• shows a calm and confident personality
• has empathy towards pets and their owners when under stress
• computer literate
• excellent telephone manner
• can do attitude
• flexibility to show initiative and work well under pressure
• a team player that can if necessary work on their own

The hours for the role are 1pm - 6pm Monday-Thursday, 1pm - 5.30pm Friday and 1 weekend in 4 (Saturday and Sunday 8.30am to 4.30pm).
