About the Role
Reporting to the Duty Manager Our Basketball coordinator / Recreation programmer is required to Implement, deliver and provide quality recreational programmes meeting service expectations, customer service and recreational needs within our local and wider community
Duties
- Confidently umpire basketball games from junior to competitive grades
- Deliver sport and recreational programmes within the stadium department.
- Assist with adult sports leagues delivery
- Deliver excellence in customer service at all times to maximise customer satisfaction and retention
- Complete stadium administration tasks in conjunction with Recreation programmes and timetable.
Skills and Experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently across all cultures and ages
- Proven sales experience, with ability to up-sell and cross sell products and services
- High degree of customer service experience
- Administration of sports coaching and programmes
- Sound Knowledge of basketball / netball (main sport we deliver at our centre)
- Knowledge of the recreation and fitness industry
- Proven time management and administration skills
