Are you ready to dive into the next stage of your career?Waterworld is looking for a Team Leader to join the operation. You will be responsible for the delivery of day-to-day operational activities ensuring the safe supervision of customers, and the facility, water quality and customer service is kept to a high standard.
There are no two days the same in this role and some of the tasks you’ll be involved in include:
- supervising Lifeguards and the reception team to ensure customer and staff safety, and operational efficiency
- ensuring pool water testing and compliance with the relevant New Zealand standards
- carrying out plant checks in line with our facility inspection procedures
- assisting with staff training and development
- looking for opportunities to improve systems, processes and work practices.
Our ideal candidate will be a great leader with the ability to empower and motivate staff and create a positive team environment. You will have strong and effective communication skills, flexibility to run a seven-day-a-week operation, and the ability to adapt to a constantly changing business. Experience or knowledge of water treatment will be an advantage.
The recruiting range for this role starts at $43,680 per annum, and could be negotiated for the right candidate.
