The opportunity

As a Fitness Instructor for Allan Brewster Leisure Centre, you’ll be helping people achieve their health and wellbeing goals and delivering fitness programmes for all ages and abilities across our diverse community. With our Leisure Centres more popular and busier than ever, our fitness teams play a vital part in ensuring that visitors are kept motivated, interested and eager to return again.

About you

It goes without saying that you’ll be passionate about fitness, health and wellbeing! You’ll hold a recognised fitness related qualification and have an advanced knowledge of fitness training including fitness testing, prescription and monitoring of clients.  You will thrive on client contact and have a proven ability to communicate effectively, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction through the programmes you deliver. 

Joining a proactive and dynamic team, you’ll be a keen team player with a flexible approach. You’ll be comfortable using your initiative to provide innovative and appropriate fitness solutions.  With impeccable time management skills, you’ll be confident with administrative tasks and processes. You’ll also hold a current REP's Certificate, Exercise Consultant Level 2 and First Aid Certificate.

This is a casual opportunity, so you’ll need to work flexible hours as and when needed, including weekends, early starts and late finishes.
