About the Role
This role will require you to provide safe, quality supervision and support for pool users and maintain a clean and safe pool environment. Please note a weekend shift will be required.
Duties
- Supervise pool users to ensure a safe and fun environment for all participants
- Conduct pool water tests and cleaning to maintain a clean and safe pool environment
Skills and Experience (preferred)
- Enthusiastic and responsible
- PLSA (Pool Lifeguard Skills Award)
- PLPC (Pool Lifeguard Practising Certificate) – training provided if required
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently across all cultures and ages
- First Aid Certificate preferred but not essential
- Minimum of 6 months’ experience in a Customer Services role
- NZS 5826:2010
- Communication skills and high work standards
- Ability to work autonomously, as well as work as part of a team
- Problem solving skills
