Franklin Vet is a progressive, mixed animal practice which employs 50 Vets across 8 clinics. We pride ourselves on being a motivated team, committed to delivering a high standard of veterinary care.
Our North Waikato Farm Services team need a proactive full-time Vet Technician to support our Taupiri veterinarians with a range of tasks including calf debudding, blood sampling, sheep capsuling, vaccinations, animal weighing and seasonal jobs.
This is a physically demanding role, so we are looking for a positive, physically fit person who can work well under pressure, with good animal handling skills, especially with cattle. Ideally you will have a Vet Technician qualification, however training will be provided for the right person.
You'll also be contacting our clients to schedule in the work so you'll need to be a great communicator with excellent organisational skills and the ability to interact positively with our clients.
