Talley’s Group Ltd is a successful and well-known brand operating throughout New Zealand. Talley’s Group Ltd is looking to employ a Field/Agriculture Manager based out of their Ashburton processing plant. The Ashburton factory is responsible for the processing of potatoes, peas and sweetcorn.
As well as being organised, logistically oriented and having a background in the agricultural industry, you'll need strong administrative and interpersonal skills.
Responsible for a team of agronomists and operational staff, and directing and overseeing harvesting crews, you'll need to be comfortable with planning and implementing harvest schedules.
The ability to connect and negotiate contracts with local farmers, suppliers and industry representatives, as well as connecting internally with both our on-site Talley’s Ashburton team and the broader Talley’s group will be key to this role.
