We are seeking candidates with excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm to assist New Zealanders with legislative advice. Successful advisors will be expected to be the point of contact for the public and from multiple channels within the organisation.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Answer inbound phone and email queries promptly
- Provide advice and information in a simple and clear manner
- Database management
- Communicate with people from all walks of life
- Investigate and probe queries
- Ad-hoc administration, as required
A background in legislation and/or policy analysis is helpful, however; our client prefers drive and work ethic over expertise. If successful, you would be offered:
- Full-time hours - Monday to Friday between 8.30am – 5.30pm
- Permanent position
- Porirua location
- Experience in customer service, administration and database maintenance

- The ability to interpret legislation
- Communicates clearly and concisely, both verbally and through writing
- Asks appropriate questions
- Is a self-starter
- Displays flexibility in adapting to varying situations
